PASCO — Walla Walla Community College enjoyed a 2-0 halftime lead, and played host Columbia Basin even in the second for a 3-1 NWAC East Region women’s soccer victory on Wednesday.

Haley Berryman sent the ball to Sam Filingeri-Oleson in the eighth minute for the Warriors’ first score, and Filingeri-Oleson returned the favor to find Berryman for WWCC’s second goal at the 23-minute mark.

Berryman scored her second goal of the match in the 65th minute off a feed from Tate Kautzky.

The Hawks’ Starcia Deponte prevented the shutout with a goal in the final minute of regulation.
